Sokoban was
invented in Japan and first released around 1982 or 1984 by Thinking
Rabbit. "Sokoban" is
Japanese for "warehouse keeper" or "warehouse man" and
the object was to push corrugated cardboard boxes around to their proper
locations. The boxes are so heavy that you can only push one of them
at a time. First versions in Europe were published by SPECTRUM HOLOBYTE
for Apple IIE. Later
appeared different versions of sokoban for MSX, NES, C64, Amiga, Spectrum,
PC, Macintosh, CE and others.
What makes sokoban so popular? May be simple and elegance rules and
at the same time variety of puzzles: beginning from very easy till
such difficult nobody can solve! But don't worry, all

It is a very addictive puzzle game - you must move a cosmic sphere around
a game board in outer space moving star blocks. The trick in Agent Sokoban
is moving the star blocks without getting them or the cosmic sphere stuck.
Because blocks can only be pushed, not pulled, the cosmic sphere has
to be careful not to get them stuck against a wall or another star block
before they reach their destination.
It's trickier than it sounds and with 375 other bizarrely shaped levels, it gets
trickier still. You'll need to be at least one step ahead of yourself throughout
the game, as one wrong move and you'll find yourself stuck. |
