 It's not
that easy to become a fireworks launching expert. Wicks, rockets
and matches might help you out with that a bit, but they won't do
as good as Rocket Mania Deluxe! From one level to another, you will
engage more and more into the beautiful world of pyrotechnics, obtaining
more new skills and new ranks (a total of about 30 ranks, starting
from an Inquisitive Child and finishing with the Supreme Dragon Emperor.
(As the matter of fact, the review was supposed to be ready couple
days ago, but I got a little carried away, you know how it goes with
the time killers like Rocket Mania Deluxe).
The first
thing we see as we run the game is a cute Chinese dragon, which salutes
us and invites us to blaze some fireworks.
So what
are we waiting for? Let's go!
When you
take a first glance, it looks like a remix of a good old Pipes game,
but, actually, it's not like that. The idea is that you have 9 rockets
and 9 flaming matches. You have to connect the matches with the rockets,
joining various pieces of wicks. The more rockets you launch - the
more fantastic will your firework look, the more scores and bonuses
you will get. The game has three modes: Classic, Arcade and Strategy.
Personally, I'm particularly fond of the first one. By the way, I
have reached the Disciple of the Lotus, because each level is only
limited in time, besides, it reminds me the most of my favorite Pipes
game.
Overall,
you will find neat graphics, soothing music, excellent fireworks
and a ton of your time killed. In other words, it's a must-have. |
